Quinns Beach Primary School has launched its new website with the help of Clarkson Community High School students.

The website at www.quinnsbeachps.det.wa.edu was created last year by the High School's Year 12 information technology students taught by John Keyworth.

Quinns teacher Chris Hope said the primary school was excited about having its own website.

"The Clarkson Students worked really hard on this and we finally had approval to get it running this year, which is fantastic," he said.

"We are proud of the students' work and we really appreciated the support we received from the high school staff."

Mr Hope said the website was designed for children and to be used by children. "We have things on there like homework help for them and extra work activities available so if parents feel it necessary they can assign it to them," he said.

Mr Hope said the school has posted photos of recent carnivals, camps and special events on the website.

"We would also like feedback from the community, parents in particular, about what they would like to see on the website," he said
