Firstly, a big thank you to those students who have maintained excellent attendance in Terms 1 and 2.

The majority of Year 8 students are settling in to high school life very well. I would like to thank those parents who have ensured that their children come to school in correct uniform every day. Most students have been wearing full school uniform as the cold weather sets in, and this is excellent to see. There are still those few students who wear non-school uniform jumpers and pants, which consequently affects Good Standing.

Thanks to chaplains Scotty Currie and Lyn Bayakly for their help during this busy semester. Everyone was lucky enough to go on an excursion to Darklight for some laser tag fun – including me! Those students who maintained Good Standing throughout Terms One and Two were also rewarded with a sausage sizzle at the end of each term.

Students have been enjoying using the VIVO program, an online points reward system. Many students have more than 100 points and should now be looking at the online shop in order to cash in their points.

The Mac Book Pros program has been well received. Students must remember that they are only allowed to use the machines indoors, as they are not insured if used outside.

If you have any concerns or require to see me, please don’t hesitate to call to book an appointment.
