Sci-Tech very kindly visited CCHS today for Beyond The Beaker, an interactive incursion that prepares students for a career in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).
Beyond The Beaker showcases how our work lives will change, explores how students can harness their STEM skills for maximum enjoyment, well-being and – perhaps most importantly – their career opportunities.
This interactive and informative experience is designed to inspire students to study STEM – both now and into their futures. It also shows how STEM is an important component of every job.
We’d like to thank SciTech for this highly engaging visit!

In Year 11 Applied Information Technology, students learn about digital money in the form of crypto currencies.
Early in 2019, Thu Thay Paw invested an imaginary $1000 into several cryptos and tracked their progress over the year. Her portfolio of Bitcoin, Power Ledger and Dash earned Thu Thaw a crazy 43% profit and the prestigious Keyworth Cup for the top crypto investor of the year. Congratulations to Thu Thay!
CCHS would like to thank Senior Constable Julie Coles from Youth Policing Joondalup for helping out with our Breakfast Club today!
This week saw the successful launch of an exciting new initiative at Clarkson Community High School as we became one of the first schools in the northern corridor to register for META, a high school E-Sports league providing a competitive environment for CCHS to challenge students from all around Australia and New Zealand.
Our Year 10 Fitness and Recreation class had a boxing session with Erin McGowan, World Champion Boxer, during their class yesterday.
