Invitational Theory provides a unique language of transformation for the school culture from awareness, to understanding, to application, to adoption.
The Elements of Invitational Theory, designed to encourage a positive school environment, include Care, Trust, Respects, Optimism and Intentionality. Invitational Theory messages students that they are able, valuable, and responsible, and treats them accordingly. This ignites motivation and enhances student engagement. Engaging students in education is fundamental to learning.

CCHS celebrated NAIDOC today with a range of hands on cultural activities. Embracing this years theme of "We all stand on sacred ground" students did charcoal drawing, rock painting and learned some Noongar words through a storytelling session with Vanessa our AIEO. The highlight of the morning was a dance performance by some of our awesome Aboriginal students. We finished off the morning with a kangaroo sausage sizzle in our Nature Space.

It was a very sad day as Brad's close friend and team mate Phillip Hughes had just passed away, and Brad began his talk by apologising if he became emotional. He was pure inspiration.
