Uniprep Schools Program
Clarkson Community High School is pleased to announce our partnership with Edith Cowan University through the UniPrep Schools Program.
We will be running this program as a course on our 2022 Year 11 timetable, alongside ATAR English and ATAR Mathematics Applications.

Year 12 Final Day 2021
Today was the last official day for our Year 12s. After a morning of hilarious activities (thank you Ms. Jeshani for organising!), including a treasure hunt, various sports and a bonkers staff/student water fight, they all met up with their teachers in the staff room for a final lunch. Everybody had a fantastic time and it certainly was a great send-off for an awesome bunch of students.
Thank you Class of 2021, it has been an absolute pleasure. See you at the graduation ceremony!
Year 10 Pathways Evening 2.0
Welcome to Term 3! We hope you all had a good break. Given that our Year 10 Pathways Evening was postponed at the end of last term, we will now be running this event on Thursday 22 July from 5pm to 6pm in our Staff Room. This event is for all parents and carers of current Year 10 students. We hope to see you there!
A Message From The Principal
Dear Parents and Caregivers.
After many years of service to the Department of Education and, most recently, as Principal of Clarkson Community High School, John Young has made the decision to retire.
As he will not return to the role of Principal prior to his official retirement date, I have been asked to continue in the role of Principal until the end of Term 3 allowing time for the position to be advertised and filled as a permanent placement.
We wish John well in his retirement.
Year 10 Pathways Evening 24 June
CCHS is hosting a Year 10 Pathways Evening on Thursday 24 June 5-6pm looking at Senior School options for 2022 and beyond.
- For all parents & carers of current Year 10 students
- Presentation by Deputy Principal sharing information about pathways, including ATAR, General and TAFE pathways
- Information given about requirements for students to achieve the WA Certificate of Education
- A chance to ask questions about future pathways, whether that be at Clarkson CHS next year or elsewhere

Exploring High School Options?
All are welcome to attend our annual Open Afternoon, where you can visit our campus, speak to our staff and ask any questions you may have. We will have student helpers in attendance who will be available to make you feel welcome and give you an insight into our school culture.
Entry is free, and we will have events for the whole family, including a free sausage sizzle. We look forward to seeing you and your family there!
Staff Development Day
Just a reminder that Friday 23 April is a student-free staff development day and Monday 26 April is the ANZAC public holiday.
Future staff development days include Monday 19 July and Friday 17 December.
