STUDENTS and donors enjoyed a garden party at Clarkson Community High School after the recent delivery of a water tank. Butler firefighters filled the tank, donated by Bunnings, with water after it arrived on Monday, November 7.

Learning Centre teacher Sophie Sherlock said the water would enable students to continue gardening through summer.

The garden was established this year to complement the students’ curriculum. They grow vegetables and herbs, as well as composting food scraps and running a worm farm. “It’s been such a great learning experience for them,” Miss Sherlock said.
