Brighton Estate is staging a concert on February 24th and it just had to get Hard Fisted back there.

The musical trio from Clarkson Community High School played at the Brighton Celebration Day concert in November and was well received by organisers and fans alike.

The school's head boy Sharudin Jumani (16) and Darren HArtnett (17) plays guitars and Teegan Vitali (16) who's head girl, is the groups' singer.

They are all TEE music students and despite the bands tough name, Hard Fisted play some good soft stuff too.

"One day a friend of mine saw that I was angry and said I looked hard fisted," Teegan said. "So we decided to give our rock group that title."

She said she and the two boys wanted to persue musical careers.

The band will perform from 7pm to 7.30pm at the Brighton Estate concert, which will be held in Brampton Park, Butler, on the lake front.
