Clarkson Community High School pupils joined other students from around Australia to take part in National Simultaneous Storytime on Wednesday May 21 at 11 am.
The other students read the picture book Arthur to Clarkson Primary School toddlers and it is estimated more than 250,000 Australian children, from Broome to Hobart, took part.
In its eighth year, the event celebrates the work done in various communities and schools to develop literacy and numeracy skills. After the reading session, there was a morning tea.
