The season might have ended several weeks ago, but there has been no easing off for the girl's soccer team at Clarkson Community High School.
Skills and fitness training will continue during the summer as the team seeks to go one better and become WA's best schoolgirls soccer team.
Clarkson went through their season undefeated to win the nothern zone competition beating Balcatta 5-1 to reach the state final.
John Curtin Senior High beat them in the state final, but coaches Gary Kalaher and Paddy Rooney were thrilled with the effort.
Kalaher was pleased with the depth of talent coming through and he said the team was capable of going one better next year.
"We had two teams in the last eight of both the senior and junior competitions this year, which made us the most successful nothern school in terms of the state competition," he said.
