Charity "Give Write" has collected and distributed stationery donations to 41 WA schools in the lead up to term one, including Clarkson Community High School.

Teachers from the school visited the charity’s Subiaco office towards the end of the holidays to collect 80 packs to help students who start the year with no stationery.
The packs contained pencil cases filled with school list basics – a set of textas, crayons, pencils, pens, a ruler, sharpener, eraser, highlighter and glue stick.

In an effort to reduce road trauma over the Easter Holiday period, the City of Wanneroo, in conjunction with WALGA/Roadwise, is again conducting a Blessing of the Roads ceremony and Human Spirit Road Safety Awards.

The Blessing of the Roads campaign aims to create awareness for all road users of the need to be courteous, take care and have common sense when traveling on our roads, particularly over the extremely busy Easter Holiday period.

The ceremony was held today at Greenfields Park (corner of Wanneroo Road and Elliot Road, Hocking).

It is rare for police to want to see teenagers let loose inside a police car but this week saw a notable exception.

A WA Police Academy resilience program invited six automotive enthusiasts from Clarkson Community High School to help with the finishing touches of the restoration of a vintage police sedan.

The 1964 Ford Anglia, formerly on display in the WA Police Historical Society museum looked as good as new when the students were finished.
