This week, the student council have been running lunchtime charity events to raise money for their ICORT awards, to be presented to deserving students later in the year. Events included Big Kahoot quizzes, a rock/paper/scissors tournament, a teacher vs student dodge ball contest and the grand finale - a charity water bomb fight!

Parent Evening Thursday 1 July

In response to the current advice in relation to the COVID-19, we will be conducting our parent-teacher interviews on Thursday 1 July by telephone rather than face-to-face. Teachers will call parents at the scheduled time on the number provided when appointments were booked.

Student engagement and achievement in Year 11 is incredibly important in establishing the foundation for success in Year 12 and beyond.

As a school, we are keen to work with both students and parents/caregivers to ensure your child has the best opportunity to successfully achieve WACE.

Therefore, we'd like to invite all Year 11 students and parents to attend an information evening on Tuesday 25th May from 4-5pm.

Homework Club will be starting again Thursday 29 July 3-4pm in the Library for any student requiring help with homework, assessments or OLNA practice.

All year groups are welcome!

Evidence shows that mental health and well-being programs in school can lead to significant improvements in student's mental health as well as their social and emotional skills. This could also lead to reductions in bullying and poor classroom behaviour. Therefore, CCHS will be holding a Mental Health and Well-being Expo in our Library on Tuesday, 1st June.

At this time, we can confirm 16 agencies PLUS our own Year 9 Health students will set up their stalls for the whole day. Each year group will attend in 45 minute sessions and there will be a sausage sizzle for students at lunchtime. Thanks to the Health and PhyEd team for organising this event!

Lifestyle Solutions is a friendly not-for-profit organisation providing Foster Care placements for children in the Perth Metro region. We are looking to recruit Foster Carers who would like to make a difference to the life of a child. Becoming a Foster Carer with Lifestyle Solutions will give you the opportunity to make a real and meaningful difference in a child’s life – and your own. We would love to hear from you if you are interested.
