Today, students enjoyed a free Chinese lunch as a thank you for their participation in a pilot study helping to develop and offer feedback on a 3D animated game with Professor Stephen Houghton of the University of Western Australia (UWA).
This program helps adolescents to manage their everyday interactions with other students to promote positive mental well-being. These situations are ones that young people might encounter every day of the week in school. By encouraging young people to assess these situations (in the game) and to resolve them in a neutral way UWA hope to promote positive mental well-being and protect against negative mental health.
A massive thank you to Professor Houghton for a delicious feed!
