We would like to invite Year 7 students, parents and any other new families to a welcome BBQ on Wednesday 17th February. The Principal's address begins at 3:15pm. Hope to see you there!

My name is Louise Hall and I am one of the Deputy Principals at Clarkson. This year I will be responsible for Year 7 alongside Ms Georgia Meyers as the Year 7 Year Coordinator.

We are so excited to welcome your child and family to Clarkson Community High School (CCHS).

Together our hope is to work alongside you to facilitate your child’s academic, personal and social growth through a range of pastoral and academic activities throughout the year.

The latest Clarkson Year 7 Transition Prospectus is now available to download for prospective parents.

This document outlines everything a new student to Clarkson would need to know, including information on pastoral care, learning ideology, facilities, technology and school life in general

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the file.

Year 7 students are currently participating in "The Clarkson Way" - our special induction program designed to welcome our new students to our school and help them learn our ethos of Care, Optimism, Respect and Trust (iCORT). The program runs every day this week.

We are holding a Year 7 Parent/Teacher BBQ on Tuesday 12th March at the school between 3.30pm and 6.00pm.

The school will provide a sausage sizzle and drink for parents, students and staff.

The aims of the evening are to:

- Allow parents to meet some of their children’s teachers.
- Introduce parents to some key staff members at the school.
- Take parents on a tour of the school.
- Provide parents with information on school processes, procedures and policies.

Hope to see you there!

At Clarkson Community High School we are committed to providing an inclusive school environment that is safe, engaging and supportive for our students. Developing student engagement, resiliency and academic inquiry is the focus of our Invitational Education philosophy and the driving influence in all areas of school improvement for 2015. Our Invitational Education philosophy ensures that People, Programs, Policies, Procedures and Places in a school are all being considered when we are developing programs for the whole child.
