Did you know that Clarkson has it's own online learning system?
Many teachers across the school are now embracing information technology in the classroom by conducting their courses online through our Moodle system. Students can log in from any device with internet access and view and submit their course assignments online, which in turn means that parents can also keep track of their child's progress.
Clarkson Community High School put on its latest musical production recently.
Clarkson Community High School has formed a special bond with its surrounding community and the City of Wanneroo.
It is using real street signs provided by the City in the school grounds - and to name its communities.
Big things are happening at Clarkson Community High school when it comes to internet technologies. As you can see, our website is packed with high-tech features and looks great. However, Clarkson is working hard towards becoming a technology-focused school, therefore with this vision in mind, the school and its Webmaster are rapidly moving forward to add more interactive features that will compliment our existing site.
Parents please be advised that the staff car park at the front of the school is not to be used for student drop off/pick up, either before or after school, as this is an occupational health & safety issue.
The school will soon be closing the entry gate at the end of the day and would appreciate it if parents could utilise the dedicated parking bays on Hannaford Avenue instead.
Please also note it is dangerous and illegal to park on the mini roundabout outside the front gate. Thank you.
15 Clarkson Community High School students are days away from completing a Certificate II in Sports Coaching thanks to a 20-week program developed by the West Coast Academy for Aboriginal Sport, Health and Education (AASHE).
"A lot of Aboriginal students are keen on sport but don't have an avenue to turn this passion into a profession," said AASHE Principal Lecturer Paul Ahearn.
A Vocational Education and Training exercise conducted by the Forest Products Commission is trying to inspire youth to a career in the State's timber industry.
Year 10 students from Clarkson Community High School were given a tour of Pinjar pine plantation near Yanchep.
They were introduced to the timber workers, shown equipment used in the $1.1 billion industry and told about the range of career opportunities in forestry - from machine operators to mechanics, nursery technicians, science officers, environment managers and compliance personnel.
The season might have ended several weeks ago, but there has been no easing off for the girl's soccer team at Clarkson Community High School.
Skills and fitness training will continue during the summer as the team seeks to go one better and become WA's best schoolgirls soccer team.
