A large part of the ethos at Clarkson Community High School is Invitational Education (William Purkey). The five P's of Invitational Education stand for people, places, policies, programs and processes and these provide the means to address the global nature of the school in terms of inviting students to learn and creating a safe learning environment.

The MATE program (Make A Total Effort) is an initiative that fits perfectly in our invitational ethos. It rewards high achievement by setting goals towards grade point average and good standing (behaviour).

Parents, students and teachers can now order their meals up to two weeks in advance through our new online ordering system. This system is great news for kids who often lose their lunch money or for parents who want to control what their kids are eating.

Full instructions are available on the site. All you have to do is sign up for an account, log in, add your child, choose your school, choose your meals and pay with a credit card. Your child's meal will then be waiting for them at recess and lunch.

For more information please click on this link or the CANTEEN ORDERS button in the top menu.

Please note: the school fees and uniform purchasing features are not active.

In the past there have been a fair few negative comments made about Clarkson Community High School and the students who attend here, but today I am very proud to say that, once again, our students have proved the naysayers wrong.

Clarkson Community High School is changing its domain name to reflect the change in name from the Department of Education & Training to the Department of Education. This means that our old domain name clarksonchs.det.wa.edu.au will change to clarksonchs.wa.edu.au on December 13th 2011.

Clarkson Community High School continues to use it's technology facilities to improve outcomes in literacy and numeracy. With the new laptop program well underway, teachers are now embracing the easily-accessible internet into their lessons. In addition to the school's "Moodle" online learning management system, the school now has access to the very popular and useful "Your Tutor" website.
